These are such exciting days! The most exciting news is that we are seeing new people come to personal faith in Christ on a weekly basis. There is nothing more exciting than what God does to the heart of man. Please pray for all those who are discovering for the first time the awesome and transforming grace of Jesus Christ. This past week we had 325 people join us for worship, and next week we anticipate a huge turnout for our Baptism service planned at Montcalm Community College. It is awesome to be a part of a movement of God.
In addition to the spiritual progress the church is making some great physical progress as well. This past month Central Montcalm Community Church received its first changes in receiving a brand new look. First, the power source of our church was created as the prayer room was finished and made available for those that would like to pray throughout the week. After the prayer room was completed, recessed lights were installed in the worship area which immediately created a much warmer worship atmosphere. This past week new carpet was installed throughout the building and the stage was raised for better visibility. Throughout the next couple of weeks and leading up to Easter, stage curtains will be hung and two new video projectors and screens will be installed. Lastly, this Spring we will complete our commercial kitchen which will open the doors for many outreach opportunities.
As the church moves forward we are anticipating a lot of exciting things happening. New staff members will be joining in the adventure, new churches will be planted throughout the county, state and country, and the Kingdom of God will expand. Let me encourage you to get involved! Why sit the sidelines when you can get involved in the game?
