Highlights: Our Campus Pastor Dave Hansen and the entire launch team did a fantastic job pulling off our first official service.

Memories: The joys and pains of giving birth were very real on Sunday. The day was a wonderful tribute to the goodness of God and the power of preparation. The day was full of interesting issues from being delayed to get into the building because of a faulty fab, our car battery dying, someone going in the ditch, a colt being born, the computer sound not working and a speaker cable going on the fritz! What is awesome is the team didn't fold or even flinch under the preassure. Thanks be to God for a team that dedicated themselves to being prepared for launch.

The joy of giving birth was felt as people flooded into the Lakeview Middle School and the room was filled with anticipation and excitement. The worship team led our new baby church into the presence of God with songs like 'It's All Because of Jesus' and 'Mighty to Save'. A new preaching series was started and people were challenged with Mark 8:34 to become 'The Biggest Loser' by losing their spiritual flab. January 10th was a great day in the Kingdom of God!

We look forward to the days, weeks and months ahead as Lakeview Community Church becomes all that God has created her to be.
