First Day In Zambia

After traveling 18 hours and thousands of miles we finally arrived in Zambia. We were greeted at the Lusaka airport by a choir from one of the Wesleyan Churches. Wow were they good. They do such an amazing job singing in unison. We spent today making the acquaintances with the District Superintendent, National Superintendent and a few Pastors. We were invited to a church service where a choir of orphans sang for us. We visited a market and had our first authentic Zambian food. They eat with their hands, and Erin had a hard time at first but caught on to the act of shoveling her food with her fingers:)

Tomorrow we visit more churches and orphanages and the next day we will head to the Southern Province. We are doing well and we thank God for the opportunity of being here. Please continue to pray for us. We love you all.

Well...my dad pretty much said everything that we did but i do have some things to say. It is so different here...the smells, the clothes, the food, houses, everything. It was so hard to eat with my hands. the district superintendant was laughing at me haha. it was funny. I am having a good time but i do miss everyone back home. I love and miss you all!

Erin :)
